Drug war violence inflicts immense suffering on individuals, families, and communities. Science shows that cannabis is much less harmful than alcohol, and about equal with caffeine. Those who believe in science should be asking why it is that cannabis, a medicine used around the world for centuries, is so feared that it is categorized as having no value, and a reason to imprison our brothers and sisters for its possession. Follow the money. If science were followed, we would all know the relative danger of the various drugs and perhaps act accordingly.

The drug war funds terrorist. That alone justifies some attention. It also drives activity under ground and creates another split in culture. In Oklahoma, where I wrote The Whole-Brain Path to Peace (www.thewholebrainpath.com <http://www.thewholebrainpath.com/>  ) I am a criminal. Here in California I am at peace with my government, and working to create a more spirit-led, peaceful world.
